Terri's Story
Terri is from Omaha, Nebraska. Terri graduated from South High School in 1973. Terri graduated from Briar Cliff University (Mass Communication, Speech and Drama, Business Administration) in 1979.
Terri retired from media relations for the Principal Financial Group in Des Moines after 17 years. She continues to help Iowa Public Television with its annual fundraiser.

ugh 1997. Before that she was a reporter, anchor and assignment editor for KCAU-TV in Sioux City for 10 years.
Terri serves on the board of directors for One Iowa, the organization dedicated to protecting and advancing equal rights and quality of life for LGBTQ Iowans.
Terri and her husband, John Hale, have four daughters, one son and three adorable grandchildren.
Terri's interests include running, bicycling and her three grandchildren.
